[Special Preview] Bent Arm Stand Challenge — An Alpha Posse Exclusive
Welcome to the Bent Arm Stand Challenge!
Each month, we guide our Alpha Posse members through a fun skill-based, month-long challenge with tutorial videos, special interviews, and ongoing feedback and advice from our GMB Trainers.
This month, we’re going to work on a skill that will strengthen your arms for better control in bent arm holds, presses, and basic tumbling like forward and backward rolls.
Some people have found this skill to be a tricky one — whether on the rings, floor, or parallettes, it can be a bit weird to get the proper feel for where your body needs to be in space…especially if you don’t have the strength to hold yourself up there!
So in this challenge, we’re going to focus on building more upper body strength so we can nail the bent arm stand.
And don’t worry — you can start this challenge from any level! It’s simple. We’ll only practice one specific movement for one minute each day. You got this!
Focus on this one move and I can pretty much guarantee you that you’ll improve your bent arm strength which will in turn improve your bent arm stand.
