Sumo Walk — An Alpha Posse Exclusive Mini-Program
Do you remember the Frogger movement? It’s one of my personal favorites to warm up with. The Frogger is a great locomotive movement, but it’s pretty common for most people to have trouble getting into the deep squat necessary for the full frogger move.
And that’s where this mini-program comes in.
The Sumo Walk is a move that professional sumos practice all the time, and when done properly, it’s looks pretty cool too! But it’s also a very useful movement – it’s great for increasing flexibility in your hips and helping you to go deeper into the pancake move.
In this mini-program, we’re going to work on three variations of this move: the Sumo Squat, the Sumo Walk, and then the more advanced Sumo Frog.
