Movement Exploration | Skills Coaching | Peer Accountability
Instead of running full-speed into the same challenges again and again, start 2024 off right by addressing the weaknesses that have held you back in the past.
๐ 5 Weeks: January 21st – February 23rd
โ
Sustainable & Enjoyable Physical Practice
โ No Guilt, Hype, or Woo-Woo Pseudoscience
Momentum is also available as part of the All-In Membership.
We designed Momentum in direct opposition to the idea of a New Year’s transformation. Short-term results aren’t worth the stress. Invest in reconnecting with your body through movement exploration that sets you up for continual progress.
โ Pumping yourself up with false motivation that’ll only fizzle out.
โ Learn our best strategies for making consistent progress in an inconsistent world.
โ Rigid commitment with no room for error or bad luck.
โ A flexible and enjoyable practice that still works even if you miss a day.
โ Grinding on the same stuff that’s lead to burnout and injury in the past.
โ Shore up oft-neglected areas like balance, spatial awareness, coordination, and movement quality.
There are a few simple things that virtually guarantee training success, but they’re often easier said than done: Practice the right things. Work at your own level. Get help when you need it. Momentum helps you with all three so you build easy momentum towards your goals.
Post videos and questions in the community to get personal feedback so you never have to wonder if you’re doing it right.
Be part of a community of training buddies all working on the same thing. No ads. No trolls. No extra distractions.
Our coaches will help you learn new movements in the best way for your level and needs.
Join us next year, or…
Elements is our best program for building physical autonomy on your own terms. Build strength, flexibility, and body control with essential movement patterns that translate to every activity.
We’ve also taken the liberty of including the answers here, since the questions aren’t very enlightening on their own ๐
Brilliant Support
If you ever get stuck or need help, you can send a message and get expert support from our coaches.
Our training programs are self-contained and designed to be repeatable. They allow you to work at your own pace and start and stop as needed.
Momentum is built around a fixed time period so you can leverage an engaged peer group and benefit from a bit of a reset at the beginning of the year.
We teach what we teach, so if you’re familiar with that, there should be no surprises here. No “secret” techniques or “new” moves. Just stuff that works, presented in a way that’ll be familiar to long-term clients, yet novel enough to provide a new challenge anyway ๐
Momentum isn’t a part of our regular curriculum, so there’s no prerequisites.
Of course, we do wholeheartedly recommend that everybody do Elements at some point. But you can do this course first if you prefer.
The minimum time commitment should be about two hours each week. Less than that, and you’ll probably be better off just skipping it.
Ideally, you’ll be able to commit 3-5 hours a week during the course, including time spend interacting in the community and getting coaching advice. Spending the time to explore the movements and immerse yourself in the process will yield the best possible returns.
The live session dates aren’t set, but they will be US-centric, as that’s where our coaching team and the vast majority of our clients live. However, this is only a very small component of the course, and the sessions will be recorded.
You do NOT need to attend any live sessions to ask questions or get personalized feedback. You can do this anytime during the course.
Nothing happens. You just come back again and keep going.
Look, none of us were born yesterday… Life will give you challenges. The course won’t stop working just because your kid got sick or your boss threw you a surprise project.
If you miss a day, just come back and keep going.
In the last week of the course, we’ll help you make a plan so you can confidently take the next steps.
Although the discussion and access to our coaches will be closed, you’ll still be able to access the lessons and training sessions after the course ends.
The minimum physical requirements are the ability to step back into a lunge and return to standing and to do both forward and backward crab walk.
If you can do those, you’re fine.
If you are open to exploring how your body moves and honest with your experience, there is not way this course won’t challenge you, but if you’re looking for something to leave you panting in a pool of sweat, you probably haven’t read much of anything on this page, because you’d already know you’re in the wrong place ๐
Yep!
Provided you have time to do both, Momentum will work just fine with your other training and won’t impact recovery.
Momentum doesn’t require any equipment besides some kind of internet-capable device (like the one you’re reading this on) and your body.
You just need enough room to move around a bit. If you can crawl and take a few steps, you’re fine.
That’s only natural. You’ve gotten stuck before, and you know how hard it is to stay consistent when “life happens.”
Which is exactly what we’ll help you address.
We’ve spent the past few years coaching thousands of clients in our live courses and communities, and we’ve got a solid formula down for helping you get out of your own way and make progress.
Unlike your average January challenge, we’ve thoughtfully selected movements you can explore and enjoy, regardless of your training experience. They’ll build your body control and sense of physical confidence in ways that most workouts can’t.
After a few weeks of exploring and interacting, you’ll feel a stronger connection with your body and its capabilities.
And you’ll know what areas you need to work on to make the most progress later.
We’ll be with you every step of the way with advice and feedback… and encouragement when you need it. No judgement and no BS. We’re here to make sure you succeed.
What would it mean for you to go through each day with the confidence that your body can handle whatever life dishes out?
