It was great how Ryan conducted each video. They went into great depth explaining each step clearly so that beginners like myself could easily understand.

After 3 months I feel I am much more confident, flexible and stronger not only with performing the skills but for every day’s actions. I look forward to continuing with F2 skills.

Learn Flips, Hand Balances, and More with a Complete Physical Re-Education Curriculum that Goes Beyond Simple Tutorials

Just because somebody can perform a movement does not mean they can teach it.

Sadly, the vast majority of people demonstrating impressive movement skills don’t have any idea how the learning process works.

Most tutorials you find for performing a back flip or a handstand are focused on the mechanics of the individual movement. They know that you spell ‘cat’ with a C, an A, and a T, but they don’t offer much insight on learning how to draw the shapes of each letter.

In the end, they tell you what to do, but completely neglect the how.

Floor Two combines the physical attributes developed by traditional fitness training and the motor control to actually perform the movements that make up each skill.

How GMB Programs Work

Our coaches have worked with thousands of recreational and pro athletes, and our clients span all ages and backgrounds, so our programs are accessible to a variety of needs.

A Program that Grows with You

Unlike some programs that give you a single workout to repeat forever, GMB recognizes that you’ll require different strategies as your strength and skills develop. That’s why Floor Two includes four program phases, each building on the previous one to keep you making consistent progress.

1. Attribute Development

F2 starts with the basic movements on which the more advanced skills rest. We’ll show the exact technical details you need to make rapid gains in strength and motor control.

3. Flow Acquisition

With the basic combinations in place, you’ll practice mini-routines that further develop your balance and control while stringing together combinations.

2. Skill Development

Next, you’ll work on transitioning smoothly and fluidly between the movements you learned in the first training phase to build combinations and more complex skills.

4. Flow “Mastery”

Finally, you’ll put all your new strength and skills to good use in performing the complete flow routine, by which you’ll refine and polish your abilities.

4-Phases

Impressive Movements Made Accessible

Here’s what a few of our clients say about Floor Two:

Do you want to actualize your inner badass? Of course you do.

F2 will guarantee that you feel at least 38% more badass, and that those around you feel sorely incompetent. While I haven’t mastered all the moves yet I do feel like I’m finally close to getting some of the skills I’ve wanted since I was 7 watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Ninja + Badass = Your Life is Complete.

I really liked the fact that F2 took me through a fun progression of exercises that were easy to follow and built up my strength and confidence. This helped me get to the point where I can do some cool moves that I wasn’t sure I would be able to do in the beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions About Floor Two

We’ve also taken the liberty of including answers, because the questions aren’t very enlightening on their own ;)

What equipment is required?

We recommend some kind of floor mat or mattress for training flips, but grass or carpet are adequate for most of the moves.

Do I need gymnastic experience??

No. If you’ve got some basic tumbling and hand balance, you’ll be fin, even if you’ve never done gymnastics.

What kind of space do I need to practice in?

Some moves will be easier to learn if you can take a couple of running steps, but you don’t need a huge floor to practice.

What moves will I learn?

The video at the top of this page gives a good idea: aerials, front flips, macaco, press to handstand, and more.

Do I need a training partner?

Having a partner to spot for you can help overcome fear for some move, and F2 includes instructions for a spotter, but it’s not a requirement.

Can I combine F2 with other training programs?

Sure. You just need reasonable expectations about how quickly you can learn new skills while pursuing other activities too.

Is tumbling dangerous without coaching?

It can be. We’ve tried to show the safest methods to practice, but many of these skills are inherently risky, and you’ll need to accept that.

How long does F2 take?

For the fastest progress, you should be prepared to practice almost every day, for up to an hour.
