More Control and Precision Over My Body

The Vitamin course helped me in a number of ways. First, I now move better, with more control and precision over my body. Second, the course helped me a lot with my mobility. And last but not least, I now learn new moves a lot faster, and I can really visualize what needs to happen to nail it. Before the course, many moves seemed too complicated to do at my ability level, but now I can see how I would be able to do them instead of just saying, "I can't do that yet."

One last thing I have noticed, before the course I was training when it was time to workout. Now I don't train anymore, I practice. Not only when I workout, but anywhere at any moment and with everything I do. I must say that I REALLY enjoyed the course, and that I still enjoy it by practicing every day.

🤷‍♂️ IS VITAMIN FOR ME?

If you’ve been training for at least a few months*, Vitamin will help you control more movement options for the things you enjoy:

  • Do you practice a martial art, dance, or other movement-intensive activity? Use Vitamin to hone your spatial awareness and kinesthetic sense, and to explore new movement skills for your practice.
  • Training for general fitness and well-being? Add Vitamin to your routine to reawaken your body’s movement potential and build better motor control for all your activities.
* If you’re just starting out you’ll probably get better results with Elements.

🔩 NUTS & BOLTS

Vitamin is an online program you can access on your own schedule. Each day of training is clearly organized with expert video instruction, so you always know exactly what to do. Here are some helpful details:

  • Training Schedule: You get 56 sessions that can be done daily or on a schedule that works for you. Clients usually set aside 15–30 minutes per session.
  • Lifetime Access: Once you get Vitamin it’s yours for life, so you can go at your own pace and revisit the program as many times as you want.
  • Equipment: None. No weights, bars, or anything. All you need is a little floor space, and maybe a mat if you’re on a hard surface.

😎 THE RESULTS

Over 20,485 clients have used Vitamin for improved motor control in all their activities:

  • Sean feels more coordinated and made breakthroughs in his handstand, crow pose, and other areas where he was stuck.
  • Noelle got back to moving more fluidly, and had so much fun the results snuck up on her.
  • JP is moving with more control and precision, and finds it easier to learn new skills.

Vitamin is not a workout. It’s a consistent practice of exploring new movements that teaches your body to move with more control and efficiency in everything you do.

Ever feel like your body just isn’t cooperating?

To be completely honest, most people move like crap.

We all want to experience physical freedom and the confidence of knowing we can run, jump, and play without being limited by pains, clumsiness, or fear of injury. But more often than not, it probably feels like your body is fighting against you instead of supporting your desire to move.

Practicing a cartwheel leap over a rock

Sadly, modern life doesn’t give you many options for expressing yourself physically. And as a result, we often find ourselves off-balance and clumsy when moving outside our typical comfort zone of sitting, standing, walking, and sleeping.

If you’re like most people, you’ll just chalk it up to “not being very athletic” and continue living with limited physical freedom.

…or you can do something about it.

Better Physical Control in 3 Steps

Motor control is made up of things like spatial awareness, vestibular sense, proprioception, and a bunch of other stuff you shouldn’t have to become an expert in. We did all the research and built everything you need into the program, so all you have to do is show up and follow a few simple steps.

1. Watch the Day’s Tutorial

Not only do we save you the confusion of deciding which skills to practice, we’ve made detailed tutorials that show you exactly how to get better at each movement. You just log on and the day’s tutorial is cued up and ready for you.

2. Explore at Your Own Level

Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses so we break down every move for different skill levels. That way you can feel confident exploring each movement in a way that works for you, and pay full attention to how to control it in finer detail.

vitamin-sales-page-reflect-on-your-session

3. Reflect on Your Session

Putting your experience into words helps you understand and solidify what you learned from each session. At the end of each session you’ll be able to record how it went, so later you can look back and see what you’ve learned.

The experience is dead simple to follow because we want you to be able to focus your attention on actually doing the movements.

We drew from decades of our own training in martial arts, gymnastics, and physical therapy—plus our experience helping tens of thousands of people learn to move better—to select the most effective movements for building different facets of your motor control.

What Movements Will You Learn?

You’ll build control by practicing 24 targeted movements and several movement combinations. Some will be familiar to you. Others probably won’t be. But we intentionally don’t say which moves you’ll be doing until you’re actually doing them. That way you can approach each one with a “beginners mind” to boost your motor learning.

Phase 1
Getting Friendly With The Floor

You’ll practice low movement patterns like rolling and crawling to build your vestibular sense and coordination.

Ryan demonstrating the crab transition movement

Phase 2
Coordinating Transitional Movements

You’ll work on locomotive and turning movements to develop strength and balance for smooth transitions.

Ryan practicing a cartwheel

Phase 3
Controlling Dynamic Movement

You’ll practice jumping and inverted movements to build your proprioception and agility.

Ryan progresses into a cobra roll

Phase 4
Smoothing Out Combinations

You’ll combine movement elements to build confidence in executing complex movement patterns.

By the end of Phase 4 your mobility, balance, and kinesthetic sense will already be noticeably better. But then you’ll do all four phases a second time—with some new challenges thrown in—to deepen and solidify all those improvements in your motor control.

By the end of 56 sessions you’ll be moving with more coordination, precision, and overall athletic confidence in everything you do.

Bite-Sized Movement Training for All-Around Results

Vitamin isn’t your usual fitness program. It won’t incinerate your belly fat or pack on pounds of muscle. Instead it’s totally focused on the one thing almost all fitness programs miss: motor control. Because when you can control your body better you literally get better at everything you do with your body.

Movement Exploration vs. Exercise

Instead of mastering a few basic movements, Vitamin is geared for continuous motor learning

Instead of maximum effort, you’ll use mindful attention to refine your control

Instead of pushing your body’s limits you’ll explore safely within your limits

Woman bringing controlled movement into everyday life

Short, Single-Serving Sessions

Each session features a single movement or combo for focused skill improvement

Spend as little as 15 minutes when you’re short on time

Complements whatever training you’re already doing

These sessions might sound short and simple, but they compound to create really significant changes in how you’re able to sense and control your body in space. Plus they make it easy to show up day after day. Because consistency is the key to deep, lasting results.

The Master Skill: Automatic, Habitual Action

There’s no substitute for consistent practice, so why not make it a habit? We’ve studied the science behind habit formation and built some of the most effective techniques into the course. And Vitamin lives on our Praxis platform, which designed from the ground up to make it easier to stick to your training.

Better movement in BJJ

I just completed round two of Vitamin. I love variation so different movements each day really appealed to me. I also have some problems with my right shoulder and right leg so I thought it would be good with all that motor control training, and I do feel that the pain is getting better.

Where I notice the biggest difference is in BJJ practice. I can move more freely and I have better control over my body, and I didn't have bad control before, so it's quite impressive how much four weeks can do!

Training Breakthroughs in Handstands, Crow Pose, and More

Vitamin helped me to reintegrate movement into my life. It helped me feel more coordinated. And the synergistic effects of the course caused me to make training breakthroughs in several places where I had plateaued, including handstands, crow pose, and general poise and movement.

I'm moving with greater fluidity

I chose the Vitamin program to start because it was easy to fit the program into my daily routine. The "practice and quality" approach helps to refine the movements in the brain and it has allowed me to move with greater fluidity and control. It has also been a challenge and I have had a lot of fun with each practice day.

With my work, my little daughter, and other exercises I do, a program that required short, but quality, sessions seemed great to me. I really liked the idea of "playing" with the exercises, practicing instead of working out.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve also taken the liberty of including the answers here, since the questions aren’t very enlightening on their own 😉

Free Updates
Every few months, we update all of our programs based on client feedback and new things we’ve learned. You’ll never have to pay for the most recent version.

Lifetime Access
You’ll never lose access to your programs. If you have to take time off, pick right back up where you started. Your training materials are always available.

Brilliant Support
If you ever get stuck or need help, you can easily send a message and get expert support from one of our coaches. We’re here to help.

How will this impact my other training?

We designed this course to fit in with whatever program you happen to be following. You can add it to your warm-up, or just practice as a separate “skill” session. It’s completely flexible.

What skills will I learn?

Vitamin covers a huge variety from hand balancing to locomotion to tumbling. But the goal isn’t to master any particular skill, so we like to keep each day a surprise so you can stay curious and enjoy each day.

How long does this take?

You’ll get the most out of this course if you can spend at least 30 minutes on your daily practice. But we know you’re busy, and some days that might be tough. Whatever time you have available is fine. Just 10 minutes is better than nothing.

What if I can’t do some of the movements?

We fully expect that. Some of them are hard. And some will be easy. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, so we’ve got variations to make any movement easier or more difficult, depending on your needs.

Is that really enough time?

You only have the amount of time you have. Obviously, your results are going to reflect the effort and attention (and yes, time) you can devote to playing with each movement. If you have 45 minutes, that’s great. But if all you have is 10, it’s certainly better than zero, isn’t it?

Do I need any equipment?

You won’t need any exercise equipment at all. You will need an internet connection and a device that can display video. And if you’re training on a hard surface you might want a mat for some movements. Besides that, just some comfortable clothes and a smile will do.

How is this different from Elements?

Elements is our introductory program that focuses on deeply exploring 3 core locomotor patterns. Vitamin specifically works on motor control by giving you a wider variety of movements without the pressure to try and master each one.

What happens after I finish the program?

We’ll hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Just kidding. Since you get lifetime access, many people opt to repeat it again immediately. You’ll know what’s right for you when the time comes.

Can’t I just learn this from YouTube?

YouTube is great for finding skill tutorials, but it’s terrible for focus. This practice is built on the idea that instead of searching through the entire internet, you simply show up and do the one thing we’ve prepared for you.

The results sneak up on you!

When I decided to build a base of strength and functional integrity I knew it was time to see what I could learn from the great people with GMB. I could sense they had a fun perspective with real talent based off dedication. Vitamin really excelled at breaking down fancy moves into a very basic beginning form. I love doing bear crawls a ton of varied ways. I wanted to really get back to moving more fluidly on the ground with my daughter and see what peaks I could bring my capabilities to.

I love how the results sort of sneak up on you. I can take a break and work on some other strength training, then go to a grassy park and start playing around organically and find that I've progressed just by increasing interoception somewhere.

Yay! You made it to the bottom of the page.
