Welcome to Day 3 of the Flexibility Mini-Course!
Today’s routine:
- Cobra Stretch
- Kneeling Lunge A
- Camel Stretch
Today we’ll add in the Camel Stretch, following the Cobra and Kneeling Lunge A we worked on the past couple days. This is a great stretch for counteracting a lot of the problems that occur for people who spend much of their days slumped over a desk.
The primary muscle areas addressed with this stretch are:
- Hip flexors
- Abdominals
- Chest
- Anterior Shoulders
- Biceps
Key Points |
---|
โข Sit kneeling in front of a stable, elevated surface, either on the balls of your feet or on your insteps. Reach back with palms facing forward. |
โข Push your hips forward and keep your chest high. |
โข Dynamic action is pushing hips forward, lifting chest up, and pushing down through your hands. |
