Flexibility Mini-Course – Day 4

  • FF Cobra
  • FF Kneeling Lunge A
  • FF Camel Stretch
  • FF Prone Scaption Rotation
  • FF Desk Jockey Routine

Welcome to Day 4 of the Flexibility Mini-Course!

Today’s routine:

  1. Cobra Stretch
  2. Kneeling Lunge A
  3. Camel Stretch
  4. Prone Scaption Rotation

Today we’ll add in an exercise called Prone Scaption Rotation, in addition to the other three stretches we’ve worked on the past few days.

Also included in the playlist above is a follow-along routine that ties all these stretches together.

The prone scaption rotation stretch helps to target the front of the shoulder and the pecs, which tend to be tight due to hunched forward posture. The primary muscle areas addressed with this stretch are:

  • Chest
  • Deltoids
  • Biceps
Key Points
• Arm out at ~45 degrees, find the angle where you feel no anterior shoulder pinching.
• Dynamic action is rolling the front of shoulder into the ground.

Congrats on a great week of stretching! Want more?
